“An Attitude of Gratitude”, is a collection of thoughts of thankfulness, so that I may never forget the great things He has done for me.
The day my husband and I heard God clearly calling us to homeschool our then 6 kids was both exiting and scary. We were both working full time, I had a 2.5 hour commute each way, and he was working close to 60 hours a week. Though I did get to work from home 2 days out of the week, there just wasn’t enough time to devote to homeschooling.
After 6 months of constant prayer and research, I quit my job. We knew we would have to make huge financial sacrifices, and fully trusted in God to sustain us.
As the first semester of homeschooling was coming to an end, and my son’s high school graduation was quickly approaching, we began to wonder how college tuition would be paid for. We not only had to cover his tuition, but my daugther’s as well. She would graduate the following year.
Just like He always does, God provided, and I now work from home 90% of the time. Not only that but even though my day is full (and long), I am able to complete a full day’s work and teach my kids everyday. I am beyond grateful, for the Lord has given me the ability to help my husband provide for this beautiful family.
Remember God is faithful, and He gives good gifts!
