“An Attitude of Gratitude”, is a collection of thoughts of thankfulness, so that I may never forget the great things He has done for me.
For months I’ve been having pain issues in my hands, but because life just keeps going, things need to get done, meals need to be cooked, lessons have to be taught, e-mails need to be sent; I don’t seem to think about “me”. As a working/homeschooling mother of six, I just don’t have the time to think about me.
Last week, I was reminded I really need to make the time. I had severe arthritis pain for nearly a week. I could not move my left hand for an entire day. I can’t remember how many pain pills I took in order to keep the pain under control; just so I could keep working.
Today, the pain is gone, and I am finally looking for a doctor that can help manage the pain.
I’m grateful for the hands I so often take for granted. With them I hold my kids, I cook for my family, I tie my kids shoes, and I brush my girls hair. With them, I worship the One who created me.
So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
